What Clients Are Saying
About Patricia Stahl M.Ed CPCC
Patricia Stahl is a Co-Active® Life Transition Coach who helps people navigate change with clarity, courage, and compassion. Her work is rooted in emotional intelligence, deep listening, and the belief that transitions—chosen or unchosen—can become powerful opportunities for repurposing one’s life.
Patricia brings more than three decades of experience in education, leadership, and human development to her coaching practice. She is a graduate of Harvard University, where she earned her Ed.M., and is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) through the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI), one of the most respected coaching programs in the world.
Before becoming a coach, Patricia spent fourteen years as Director of Volunteer Services and Patient and Family Programs at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where she led and supported a community of nearly 500 volunteers, ran patient centers and patient family advisory boards. In this role, she designed and oversaw emotionally intelligent, patient-centered programs serving individuals and families facing cancer—work that profoundly shaped her understanding of resilience, meaning, and human connection.
Earlier in her career, Patricia worked at Wellesley College Center for Research on Women where she co-founded and co-authored the widely used professional development program Bringing Yourself to Work, focused on emotional intelligence, authentic leadership, and relational skill-building. She has facilitated workshops, trainings, and retreats for educators, healthcare professionals, and nonprofit leaders, helping people bring their full selves into their work and lives.
Today, through Repurpose Coaching, Patricia works with individuals who are asking big questions: Who am I now? What matters most? And what’s next?
She specializes in life transitions—including retirement, career change, identity shifts, and relationship crossroads—offering a steady, thoughtful partnership as clients reconnect with a life of purpose, resulting in feeling more aligned and alive.
Patricia’s coaching style is warm, perceptive, and deeply respectful. Clients often describe her as grounding, insightful, and gently challenging—someone who creates space for reflection while also supporting forward movement. Her approach integrates Co-Active principles, emotional intelligence, values exploration, and whole-person awareness.
Patricia lives in Massachusetts with her husband and is the mom of two wonderful humans, Gabriel and Max. She continues to write, teach, and coach at the intersection of meaning, transition, and human connection.
